The excitement of a new computer can suddenly get scary if you don’t know how to move everything from your old computer.
Once you’ve selected your new laptop or desktop computer, let us know and we can help you migrate the data from the old system and transfer the “personality” at the same time. That’s right, every system has a personality that’s unique to the user. What programs are installed, where the data is located, what logins and favorite locations have been saved and the overall “look and feel” are the personality of your system. We have special software and hardware tools that allows us to move everything that’s movable and then we go about reinstalling the necessary programs.
Your old computer may have died, or maybe the cost to repair it is too high and it’s time for new one. Either way, we won’t need to fix the old computer in order to move your stuff to the new one. Those special tools of ours allow us to open the old computer, extract the hard drive from inside and be able to plug it into one of our techno-gizmos to perform the copy and migration process. We have done 100s of these (maybe 1,000s by now!) and we’ve got the process down to a science, so don’t fret! Bring us the old computer and the new one. In less than 48 hours we should have everything all moved over and ready for you to take home.
Why You Want Us To Setup Your New Computer:
- Everything Moves Over
That’s right – all the data like documents, pictures, music and videos will all be copied to the new computer. All the settings too; your website favorites, logins, background picture and all the rest. We just need to reinstall some programs and off you go! Then we will connect to your new computer when you get home so we can install your printer. - It’s All So Familiar
You can get right to work because everything is right where you left it! You know where to look and find things you need, so you can be productive right away. While you may take advantage of the new computer’s power to upgrade some of your software apps, the rest of your world stays the same!
